Cultural Equalities Development Officer Disability Sport Development

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Stacey Manion and I am the Cultural and Equalities Development Officer at Wirral Council and work in Leisure and Cultural Services.

I have been in post since May 2007. As part of my role I have the responsibility of ensuring that children and adults (5yrs +) with a disability have the opportunity to access all leisure and cultural facilities, activities, and programmes. My current work involves improving provision, as a result of consulting specific organisations and community groups about the provision currently offered. I co-ordinate holiday and term time programmes/ events within sport, leisure and culture for children and adults with disabilities.
