Cultural Equalities Development Officer Disability Sport Development I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Stacey Manion and I am the Cultural and Equalities Development Officer at Wirral Council and work in Leisure and Cultural Services. I have been in post since May 2007. As part of my role I have the responsibility of ensuring that children and adults (5yrs +) with a disability have the opportunity to access all leisure and cultural facilities, activities, and programmes. My current work involves improving provision, as a result of consulting specific organisations and community groups about the provision currently offered. I co-ordinate holiday and term time programmes/ events within sport, leisure and culture for children and adults with disabilities. Please feel free to contact me about any of the above or if you have any questions. I would also like to express that parents, carers, and guardians are more than welcome to contact me and feedback any ideas, opinions, and suggestions to improve current provision. Also if you would like to receive more information about the sport, leisure and cultural programmes and activities I co-ordinate please let me know and I can put you on my data base to receive this information regularly.
